What software do I need to run AvanZer?
AvanZer is built on .Net technologies and SQL server. These industry leading standards make AvanZer deployment throughout the business painless. For email notifications we only require an SMTP enabled mail server.
 
What software do users of AvanZer need?
User of AvanZer only need Internet Explorer browser software. Their is no need to deploy additional software to users desktop in order to user the full power of AvanZer.
 
Will AvanZer work with MAC browsers?
Unfortunately AvanZer does not support either Safari or Firefox. For organisations running MAC browsers, Parallels will be required for full functionality.
 
Is the system secure?
AvanZer uses Active Directory as its underlying authentication method. Only authorised users as defined in the form configuration are able to Approve/Reject requests in the system.
 
What user access levels does AvanZer provide ?

AvanZer provides 4 access levels:

  • IT User - Complete access to all Administration functions, the ability for create electronic forms, define form security, view all requests and create/run reports.
  • Super User - The ability for create electronic forms, view all requests and create/run reports.
  • End User - The ability to create support requests for forms they have been given access to, View own request forms only.
  • Auditor - View only all information in systems and create/run reports.
 
How can I view information in AvanZer ?
AvanZer provides comprehensive search and reporting functionality. You can view requests by Form Name, Author, Status or date. Alternatively you can use the powerful search capability within AvanZer or create and run your own tailored reports.
 
What happens if an Approver is away ?
When defining approval workflows, you have many options available. For instance for any given workflow stage you can define a Primary and Secondary contact(s). Both of these contacts will be notified via email for any request that requires their attention. Alternatively you could simply define a time limit for which the approver(s) has to action an request or move on to the next approver after this time limit expires.
 
How many electronic request forms can I create within AvanZer ?
There is no limit to the amount of electronic request forms that can be created within AvanZer. Simply create, use the system supplied or model new forms from existing ones within AvanZer to meet your business demands.
 
How many stages can I have within a workflow ?
There is no limit to the number of stages for any given workflow. Obviously the workflow for each request needs mapping against the business process to ensure that each request is sent to the correct target audience for the approval process.
 
How do I automate requests within AvanZer ?
AvanZer gives you the ability to define repetitive requests as Tasks. These tasks can then be assigned to individuals along with a schedule and escalation contacts. The system will then send the Task to the assigned to person on the schedule you have defined.
